BURGUNDY ROMANCE

So I’m finally back with the new makeup look post which I really like. It’s sophisticated, dark, fierce but yet very romantic. You know when sometimes comes a day when you want to create that dark fierce look and slay it all day or night… that’s exactly what this look is about. You can easily wear this look during the day and it will look amazing also for a night out with your girls or for a date night.

Almost everything about this look is concentrated on the eyes. I created very dramatic smokey eye using burgundy shades in a combination with orange colours and this combination gives this look a hint of romance and softness but then with the dramatic cat eye and falsies everything collapses into a bold, fierce eye makeup. For cheeks I went with the most perfect bronzy-coral blush for my skin tone and for lips I chose dark burgundy lip colour. You can easily pick one of your favourite nude lipsticks, nude will look gorgeous especially durring the day but for a night out, burgundy is a perfect match for this eye makeup.

You can achieve this eye makeup by following the steps in the gallery. I used Urban Decay’s Smoky and Full Spectrum eyeshadow palettes.

Highlight your brow bone (THIRTEEN, Sigma E60) and apply matte eyeshadow on your crease (COMBUST, Zoeva 227)

Apply metallic burgundy eyeshadow on 1/3 of the eye lid (Kiko, Zoeva 234) and blend it softly right above the crease, but not too much (Zoeva 231)

Apply pearly orange eyeshadow at the rest of the eyelid (JONES, Sigma E56), then use a tiny amount of coral matte eyeshadow and apply it right on top of the eyeshadow on the crease and blend the colours together (SEIZE, Zoeva 231)

Then apply the same matte coral eyeshadow really close to the lower lash line, blend (SEIZE, Sigma E30), highlight the inner corner with glittery yellow shade (GOLDMINE, Zoeva 237)

Apply matte eyeshadow with fluffy brush in outer corner of the eyelid tapping it and also right in the outer corner of lower lash line. This step will add the depth to this look and it will open your eyes even more (WHISKEY; Sigma E55 and Zoeva 230)

Create a dramatic cat eye and apply falsies. Don’t forget to conceal under your eyes!
