KITTY’S CALLING

Loves,

There’s something about art that I really like and that’s the fact that the artists are sometimes or often inspired by the current feelings or mood and especially then they create fantastic pieces of art. Makeup is also one of those arts where you can create a look based on your feelings and your options are absolutely endless. You can go with bold dark colours on a heavy rainy day, bright eye makeup with nude pink lipstick on a sunny day, fierce and dark when you feel unbeatable or romantic when you feel this way and that’s exactly what I did with this one.

I created a very romantic yet fierce and sexy look, it’s a bit different but very wearable and super cute. It’s a look that you can wear during the day or night and the only thing that’s important is that you feel confident and comfortable. I’m so in love with this look and whenever I take a look at it I want to recreate it. All the drama is concentrated on the eyes. I created a classic soft smokey cut crease eye makeup with matte nude eyeshadows from Urban Decay’s Ultimate Basics palette which I honestly use every single day and I love it. Then I created a very dramatic cat eye and for lower lash line I wanted some drama so I decided to create a full cat-eyes look. With the dark purple mauve eyeshadow I drew the line that splits right before the inner corner of the eye so that gives your eyes that extra dramatic cat eye look and the lower you push this line more dramatic and bigger your eyes will look. I decided to stay with a tiny line because it looks super cute and playful. It’s very important that you blend this line with the pencil brush so it doesn’t look harsh and you always have to fill that space between the line and inner corner with a very bright eyeshadow. This step is really important because it helps you to define this cat eye line even more, it pops out much more.

For cheeks and lips I chose burgundy shade because I just didn’t want to go for nudes but if you want you can easily choose your perfect nude shades for cheeks and lips and you’ll look stunning!

Loves, I really am obsessed with this look and I’m absolutely looking forward to create another look that’s going to be similar, maybe a bit more dramatic? Don’t actually know yet, we’ll see! Thanks for the reading and you’re welcome to stay around for more exciting posts soon!
