This post is hopefully going to be very special because I decided to post my three favourite makeup looks for you ladies which you can easily recreate for this festive season. Every each one of them is different and very easy to create. You can wear any of this looks for a party, dinner, Christmas eve or New year’s eve. Every look includes classic Holiday colors; reds and golds which are combined in many ways.
First two looks were definitely inspired by classic Holiday red nail color which is the most common and classic nail color for Holidays. You just can’t never go wrong with it! I created two looks with classic red nails, and for both looks I used my favourite eyeshadow palettes at the moment which I also combined with the second look. First look is all about golds and glow and of course, the pop of red which I like so much. It’s a very sophisticated and chic look, especially for those you ladies who like classic holiday makeup but you still want some Holiday vibe going on.
I did the complete eye makeup with all Urban Decay’s eyeshadows. For my eyelids I used Naked palette and I did classic gold lid blended with soft brown and of course I also did a very dramatic cat eye which opens up your eyes and makes them much bigger. For my lower lash line I wanted to create something different, sparkly, I used Moondust palette which has so many gorgeous glittery eyeshadows and I applied Element eyeshadow right under my lower lash line. It makes such a difference with this look. This red eyeshadow with pink glitter makes this look so chic but if you want you can also apply matte bronze eyeshadow and you’ll also look gorgeous. For blush I used mineral peachy blush with slight red sheen to it which on my oppenion completes this look perfectly and with the poppy red lipstick it just looks stunning!
The second look is right the opposite from the first one. I created red smokey eye with Full Spectrum palette and on top of the eyeshadows on my eyelid I applied Element eyeshadow from the Moondust palette tapping it on. This additional glitter on top of the eyeshadows gives this look some dimention and makes it so gorgeous! I simply love this trick! For face I went with dark almost caramel brown blush for my cheeks and for lips I chose similar shade of lipstick with a glossy finish. For face highlight I did strobing technique combining both Sleek’s highlighting palettes.
At last but not least, my favourite look! It’s a bit bolder and edgier, you might not like it that much but you still can recreate it with me and you’ll see, you’ll look stunning! Products that I used for this look are in the galery:
This look is much more fierce, bolder and stunning, it’s appropriate especially for a night! For eye makeup I did only brow bone highlight and I applied matte base eyeshadow from Naked Ultimate Basics palette on my crease and right under my lower lash line. On the lid I applied loose gold glitter on the eyeshadow base. I also weated the brush with fix spray so it really steaks on the lid. For cheeks I went with bronze blush and on top I applied bronzy highlighter from Sleek’s Precious Minerals highlighting palette. Ladies, if your skin is on a natural side and you’re a bit paler, this’ll look stunning and oh with the strobing highlighting technique on top mind-blowing! For lips I chose Sleek’s Matte Me liquid lipstick in a bold dark red shade.
I know this post was a bit longer than usual but I really hope that you found some inspiration for your own looks! Please stay around for the new exciting upcoming posts next week! Wish you all a great evening.
