MANI MONDAY- SILVER MIRRORS

So I was thinking and decided to add a new column ‘MANI MONDAY’ on my page which is going to be so exciting, hopefully. Every Monday I’ll be posting articles about nail polish colours, trends, manicure types and nail care. I’ve been a huge nail polish lover for many years now so I’m so excited to share this passion with you loves, hoping you’ll get some inspirations for your weekly manicure. 

First post of this column is going to be about my all-time favourite nail colour – silver mirror. There’s been an explosion of mirror nail polishes in a past few years and you still can find them in many different colours but for some reason I’m in love with silvers. This nail colour looks very fierce and sophisticated at the same time and that makes it so unique. It’s one of those nail colours which you can wear in any season of the year, for any occasion, any time. You just simply can’t go wrong with silver nails but there are a few tricks to make it look perfect. Before you apply any mirror nail polish you always have to make sure that you give your nails a proper manicure so the nail surface is very smooth with no bridges or dimples. If you have any or just a tiny imperfection on your nails it will be seen from the end of the galaxy so make sure your nails are smoothen out to a perfection. It’s also very important to apply a base coat, before you use any nail polish so your nails will be to be protected and even smoother. I also noticed a one thing with mirrors and that’s that you have to apply it very smooth with no pressure or hurry, you just softly paint the nail, the first coat has to be thin and the second can be a bit thicker so there won’t be any stripes of the brush, hopefully. For this post I chose my favourite silver mirrors, the most of them are from OPI which makes the most gorgeous silvers and every year it comes up with at least one or two.

My fiance always says that they all look the same and that honestly really bugs me because to me, they all look so different, every each one of them is very special. The most of them have that white cold silver undertone but some of them seem like that they have some warm pigment or glitter mixed with silver and those are the most stunning ones because the effect is almost the same as with the pure silvers, just the colour is much different. But how can a man know right haha.
