Ladies,
Couple of weeks I ago I shared with you a post reviewing Chanel’s face primer that’s become my all-time favourite. I knew I will never be able to exist without this primer so little junkie that I am I also chose Chanel’s foundation and finishing powder and these are the products I’d like to share with you today.

Before I jump into the review I’d first like to share with you a couple of important things that I noticed with Chanel’s products. I would like to tell you something about Chanel’s beauty and makeup vision just because I often hear weird things about their products from people that just don’t pay attention to what and from whom actually they purchased. I often hear that Chanel foundations don’t have that much coverage and that their eyeshadows are not that pigmented. We all know how much money luxury brans costs, their products are very expensive and just in a case if you’re willing to spend a lot of your money on a foundation or any makeup product I would like to tell you that Chanel doesn’t believe into masking a face or into the exaggerated covering up all the imperfections. Chanel believes into the natural beauty and into defining your perfections so you’ll never find a full high coverage foundation in Chanel collection or eyeshadow pigments. If you’re not into light natural looking makeup and you prefer to do makeup layers on your face or extreme contouring for example, I highly recommend you to not chose Chanel’s products. In Chanel’s collection you can find very light, comfortable foundations with medium coverage that’s usually buildable but never up to the high coverage.

In Chanel’s wide collection of foundations I chose one which is perfect for any skin type. Perfection Lumière foundation is designed to use on top of Le Blanc de Chanel base and the finish of these two products together is just breath taking. This foundation has the ‘perfect light control complex’ which means that it optically corrects all the small imperfections on the skin and it also adds a gorgeous luminosoty to the skin that we all like. All of their foundations claim to be very comfortable and that’s because they contain a moisturising oligo-plant for a perfect balance between matte finish and comfort. Perfection Lumière is also a long-wear foundation and I have to admit ladies, It doesn’t move anywhere and at the evening it still looks like it was when I applied it. I’m absolutely in love with it!

Last but not least, I also chose a finishing powder in Chanel’s collection just because I noticed that their products are designed to be used together so I wanted the complete collection of their face makeup products. I chose Poudre Universelle Compacte which is a pressed finishing powder powder with a very natural finish. It’s very lightweight powder which gives you almost no coverage. It’s almost sheer and it only mattifies the skin, setts and locks your makeup for the all day. I like to keep it always in my makeup purse so I can touch-up my makeup anytime. I really like this finishing powder because I feel that it doesn’t ruin the finish of foundation, I feel that these products are simply meant to be used together and they all together give my skin the most gorgeous finish that I absolutely adore.

Hope you ladies liked the reading of this post and hope you found some of this products interesting because I’d highly recommend all of these to any of you out there. Stay around for more posts this week ladies, good night!
Absolutely stunning! Have to try it asap☆
Thanks ✨💛✨ and yes, I highly recommend you too because these products work perfectly together 💛
I found only one good product from Chanel and it is bronzer in big jar but it is to warm for me. Hope they will manage to make some other shades. Other makeup from Chanel waste of time in my opinion :). Love your post tho
Thank you for your opinion but I have to disagree with you ☺️ You’re obviously not a user of Chanel or other luxury makeup brands so you really shouldn’t write things like that about a brand that you don’t use ☺️ And a ting about Soleil Tan de Chanel, this is a bronzer designed for any skin tone; if you’re pale you use only tiny amount of the product and if you have warm or darker skin tone you can use more, it’s buildable and adjustable to any skin tone. I don’t think that they will come up with much more shades because there’s no need to. It’s the perfect bronzer ☺️ You can read more about it in my next blog post ✌🏻
I have many products from Chanel including the Dior with it too. Like nail polishes to powders :). I just don’t like their bronzer that I own and that is my opinion. I think that Bahama mamma or Anastasia cremes are even better :).
I will for sure :))
Of course you do ☺️ Would be really nice to see some of your reviews on luxury brands then 🤗
I will do them when I get home ofcourse I will start with brow pencil from Estee Lauder in double wear edition 🙂
Can’t wait 😁
This is the type of brand I don’t purchase because it is so expensive and that you don’t know whether it’ll be good. So I’m glad you took the time to write about it! I’d love to try it some day! Thx for sharing! xoxo Sarah
Thank you so much for the reading and for this comment. I totally get that the price range of Chanel’s products is very high and that can be a huge problem especially when you’re not familiar with the brand and you just can’t trust them. I really hope that someday you’ll try out their products and I know you won’t be disappointed ❤️
I indeed love the natural finish, so I’ll make sure to try it! Are there any highlighters you like from Chanel? What do you think of their ‘Teint de soleil’? <3 <3
Yes of course they are 😍 Chanel comes up with highlighters once or twice a year but when they do, it’s perfect.. from the packaging, design to formula! Now I use the highlighter from the Coco Code palette. It’s settle and it’s not very pigmented but just enough to give you that gorgeous settle elegant glow. I’m waiting for the new Energies et Puretés de Chanel Spring 2017 Makeup Collection when they’ll launch Chanel Plissé Lumière de Chanel Illuminating Powder which is going to be stunning! And about the bronzer Soleil Tan de Chanel I can only say that’s become my favourite bronzer of all times! Blog post review on this one is coming on my blog this week so you can check it if you want some concrete information about this product 💛
Great, I’ll be sure to read it!! Thank you for the feedback Dasa!! xoxo Sarah
You’re very welcome sweetie 💛
