Hi loves,
It’s been quite a while since my last post in Mani Monday series, but I had quite a few problems with growing my nails long because of my lifestyle so I kinda didn’t want to disappoint you because I was pretty much optimistic with my choice.

Now when so many weeks passed, I kinda reconciled oneself to my shorter nails and I’m ok with that. As a blogger and writer I’m attached to my computer and I type for most of the day, so I wish I’d consider that before deciding to grow them long. There’s also my side work as a photographer which is also non appreciative for long nails and that’s where all the fun begins. You loves exactly know about what I’m talking about; when you finally grow them just a bit longer and then you break just one tiny piece, just a top right corner of one. It makes me insane and I always get so mad that I just cut them short the rest of them. I know it sounds crazy, but all of you who follow me for a while know that I was always and still am an absolute perfectionist when it comes to my nails so I guess that won’t ever change. I’ll cut down all of them always, if I break just one so that was happening to me all the time during these ten weeks. Now I simply just stoped fighting with them and that’s the best I think. I found my piece with it haha.
With such a gentle gel as Shellac, I’m very much confident to say that you won’t be able to grow them long with absolutely no struggle.
There’s just no way to do that. CND Shellac gel system is just too gentle for you to be able to grow them long with just that, so if you’re planning to do so, I highly recommend you to go for a standard gel system which is much harder and will give you better protection and hardness that you’ll need. With Shellac are natural nails very flexible underneath it, they’re fully protected, but the successful growth fully depends on the nature of your job. Trust me when I tell you that haha. I am still going to be trying at my best to grow them longer but as I wrote before, I like them just as they are now.

Anyways, I will be back with you with these series soon and tomorrow with the new post loves! Have a lovely evening!
